This is exactly right: "The only thing you need to know about Olivia Nuzzi is that she used her position of power, as a journalist, to advise & elevate the world’s most prominent anti-vaccine activist to the most influential health position in the United States." #IllnessPolitics
Olivia Nuzzi wrote an entire story based on unnamed sources about Biden's decline, reinvigorating calls for him to leave the race -- and the whole time, she was working on RFK Jr.'s behalf, according to her ex-fiance. newrepublic.com/article/2035...
Olivia Nuzzi’s Real Victims
More than her fiancé, or fellow female journalists, the public will pay the price for these misdeeds. RFK Jr. will see to that.

I swear there has never been someone described as a "thought leader" whose actual thoughts turned out to be worth paying attention to
"Sapiens" is basically an indictment of the whole concept of the "thought leader," a guy with academic credentials who sounds smart and underpays graduate students to (poorly) do the research that he slaps his name on and publishes.
Episode 46: Sapiens

It's an ambitious goal to write the entire history of humanity in just 400 pages. It's even more ambitious to do it without reading any research.

✅ You have the right to be silent.
✅ You can ask the officer if you are free to leave. If the officer answers “no,” you can say you’d like to talk with an attorney.

It’s wild that popular tellings of American history dont mention that the largest portion of colonists were neutral, and a sizable portion were opposed to independence. 👇🏻
Portland was also a mostly loyalist town (most “patriots” were off in the county’s regiment laying siege to Boston) so it was a real own-goal for the Brits to burn the town

It didn’t go far enough. It never went far enough.
Today is a good day to remember, and to say, that the #MeToo movement was right, and was righteous, and has been vindicated over and over again. There was no overreach. There was no excess. There was no they-went-too-far.

So much work remains to be done.

KBJ threaded the needle thanks to CA1’s unfinished business.

-if she denied the admin stay, the full SCOTUS woulda stepped in to override her.
-if she immediately referred the case to the full Court, they coulda dragged feet.
-instead she boxed them in to act quickly once she does refer the case.
