I must ask for all who visit my page not to be put off by any reposts of Climate Change. I simply worry for the sake of nature and wildlife and try to avoid the topic when possible. I just care deeply for something that needs a voice - mine and many more. 😊🍃🌳🍃🌻🐝🦋🪶🐾🌍🌊

We are in a global climate emergency largely created by the combustion of fossil fuels, yet it isn't getting emergency treatment like this.

Also, when my friend - who lived near the refineries - was pleading for relief from the pollution, nothing happened.

So please - spare me.
We are in close communication with our state and federal partners on the Olympic Pipeline shutdown.

This emergency declaration will help Sea-Tac Airport maintain its fuel supply while the pipeline is offline and limit disruptions to travelers.

The newest ethylene plant in the US has had a few problems with pollution and explosions. Not good for ones health.

"When they built it, it was meant for job employment, help boost Beaver County. But instead, it's kind of been more negative than positive, it seems like," Matich said.

England and Wales have lost nearly a third of their grasslands, including wildflower meadows, since 1930. Over 100 maps from the 1960s “second land use survey,” created by schoolchildren and students, are now digitised, the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology says.

More than a hundred maps from a 1960s land use survey have been digitised, filling a gap between existing digital records from 1930 and modern satellite imagery

Hard to fathom why anyone would oppose restrictions on hormone disrupting chemicals linked to 'hormonal cancers, obesity + diabetes, impacts on the immune + neurological systems + early puberty' in children's toys. Will the UK match the EU + ban these chemicals in toys, teethers + sippy cups?
📮 In October, two letters were sent to the UK Government urging it to align with the EU’s updated toy regulation.

🧸 Children in the UK deserve the same protections from harmful chemicals as children in the EU.

As climate change melts ice, stored mercury pollution may be released, contaminating fish + shellfish. Mercury pollution is a feature throughout the life cycle of fossil fuels - a risk during extraction, from abandoned pipelines + from burning oil, gas + coal.

I'm not a Tory - far from it - but I’ll say this: Heseltine and Major are the last Conservatives who still sound sane.
John Major, "Our links to Europe and America may be loser now than once they were and that is a loss"

"The loss of trade with Europe alone costs us £100 billion of lost trade every year"

"That's a tax yield of £40 billion"

"How useful would that have been in recent months to the Chancellor?"
