Just looked it up & it means this (picture)
Ours in the UK just stay as a red man standing & when someone wants to cross & pushes the cross button, the pedestrian changes to green & in a walking pose with a loud & long beep that lasts about 30 seconds, roughly.

Yep, still as a shoe, but just splits down and reveals his hooves. The imprint on the soles also stay as they did on the shoes lol
