the problem with this thinking is that fascists have zero empathy and enjoy being the baddies. They literally want to kill us. They get off on it. thats why it took millions of armed soviets to stop them last time.
I’m not much for religion but if I were, if a line of clergy flew in to freezing weather to line up and oppose me while singing songs of faith, I might be thinking “are we the baddies?”

i think more people should be pessimistic. all ive seen optimism do is defang ppl. you cant prepare for the worst if you dont assume the worst.
