Give me one good reason not to impeach. (Pick any crime.)
Pew has Trump's approval at 37%. And:

"Only about a quarter of Americans today (27%) say they support all or most of Trump’s policies and plans, down from 35% when he returned to office last year. That change has come entirely among Republicans."

Confidence in Trump Dips, and Fewer Now Say They Support His Policies and Plans
Only 27% of Americans say they support all or most of Trump's policies – down since last year, with the change coming entirely among Republicans.

The last few years have seen the largest wave of immigration in American history. All those images we carry in our heads about people arriving at Ellis Island — we just surpassed that. Crime went down. Real wages went up. This is a fake problem. Enough is enough.

Immigration is a fake problem. We have politicians on the one hand who want to use immigrants as scapegoats for our real ones and politicians on the other who are too cowardly to stand against them and tell the truth. That is the entire situation. Until that changes, people will continue to die.

Mamdani: "I am in support of abolishing ICE. What we see is an entity that has no interest in fulfilling its stated reason to exist. We're seeing a government agency that is supposed to be enforcing some kind of immigration law, but instead what it's doing is terrorizing people."

Let’s talk about abolishing ICE.

Very few people who say “abolish ICE” mean “abandon all immigration enforcement.” Rather, they mean “the structure of immigration enforcement is irretrievably broken and needs to be reorganized, just like we did 23 years ago when we created ICE.”

Polling during Biden's Presidency showed that Americans believed unemployment was at *all time highs* when it was actually at all time lows. The media comprehensively and systematically lied to Americans
Despite years of "economic anxiety" discourse, the core drivers of Trump support have always been bigotry and misinformation.

Wow — New YouGov / Economist poll:

46% support abolishing ICE
43% oppose abolishing ICE

This is the first time that abolishing ICE has received net positive support

I just want people to remember that what this was was transparently obvious at the time and universally condemned. Hold on to that fact and don't let people change it under you.

271,000 people have lost their jobs and federal spending has ctually increased. So people get less services, while we added debt paying for private jets for Kristi Noem, bulletproof cars for Kash Patel. This is what the rust belt voters demanded.

there is no available evidence that donald trump understands what a tariff is, what a trade deficit is, and what the national debt is.
The way Trump talks about the problems he caused by unilaterally imposing tariffs is fairly insane, even by his standards.

I am going to repeat this forever: Supply-side crackdowns on drug use are useless, even fatal. They move addicts toward more dangerous substances, they create incentives for dealers to cut other drugs with the more dangerous substances (Xanax cut with whatever) so more casual users die, too.
This is very convincing to me, a guy who got hit on the head and forgot how most fentanyl ingredients were coming from China.
Sen. Roger Marshall defends Hegseth: "Look, we're losing 200 Americans every day to drug poisoning from these drug lords. This is a war. And it's ugly. War is never pretty ... that strike probably saved thousands of American lives."

It’s extraordinary that Biden’s main weaknesses were inflation and cognitive decline and now America has inflation and cognitive decline as well as tariffs, authoritarianism, blatant corruption, etc
