A vengeance-driven autocratic Trump returning to power exemplifies "you come at the king, you best not miss," but there is no reason why that can't also apply to vengefully, incessantly working to obliterate every essence of anti-democracy Trumpism and Trump sympathy from all American institutions.
The guiding light of Democratic politics going forward needs to be that MAGA can never be allowed to hold power ever again, and liberalism will have to be institutionally entrenched by any means necessary.

I don't understand how anyone can watch how blatantly Grok is manipulated to answer the way ownership desires it to and then act like the other LLM chatbots couldn't possibly be similarly but less obviously compromised to produce responses in whatever way corporate interests and priorities dictate.

2) They send findings to Inspector Gen. of FHFA, which Pulte heads
3) IG sends it to Lindsay Halligan, new USA prosecuting James

Apropos of recent events
For awhile now, I've had this theory that a non-negligible fraction – indeed, something like 1/3 to 1/2 – of Democratic strategists and consultants are secretly working for Republicans and/or conservative donors. It's outlandish, sure, but sometimes it really is compelling.
"'He’s gone in three years so folks find it cheaper to wait him out. Trump is a piece of ‘rent to own’ furniture for many organizations who believe once he’s gone, so are many of his weird demands.'" Hope this Dem strategist is right.

And you tell them, because the President has been illegally trying to usurp Congress and can't be trusted to uphold his end of any deal.

Dems speedrunning the Tea Party/Trump takeover dynamic, I see
Kinda funny the Dems did the shutdown largely as a show for the base and now people are madder than before lol

Still upset about no power of the purse language. You truly do hate to see it. The Trump admin undertook the most expansive set of illegal budgetary actions of any president in history, and broadcast as loudly as possible they’d keep doing it, and nothing. Budgetary lawlessness.

More like an Italian super
This was an Italian sub I got at Faicco’s last week. Look at the size of that thing! Any decent society would outlaw it as a weapon of war.

Should we just start all innings with bases loaded from here on out or what?

I think this is a good thread, but in my opinion doesn't wrestle with the capture of virtually all major legacy and new media by defenders of the extremist right. Tacking to the center seems to leave the Democrats open to intentional mischaracterization while also dispiriting their core base.
I don't expect the Democratic Party to compromise its core beliefs or change its priorities to accommodate me (a fallen Republican).

But as a purely practical matter, I think it's worth observing that when one party goes to the extreme, the party that can somehow sway voters in the center wins.

Once upon a desert sandy
As through winds the trav'ling man he
Spied the face of Ozymandy
Lying, simply lying there
Suddenly there was some writing
Pon the plinth that he was sighting
That the sand and time were blighting
Quoth the statue, "Now despair"
There was an old man you could gaze
At his works in despair in a daze
If you looked upon them
And were mere mortal men
'Ozymandias mighty', it says
My name is Pagliacci, Clown of Clowns. Look on my works, ye doctors; I despair.

Wow.

Democratic Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury absolutely destroys Jake Tapper — who tries to advance a debunked Republican talking point about Trump cutting off SNAP.

The thing about respectfully discussing politics with Trump supporters is that you don't need to be respectful. Every vote for Trump was an act of unadulterated disrespect for the country and for everyone not on board his crazy train. Every word uttered in his defense is a slap in the face.
