If this is the best that she can conjure than I really gotta ask why she even bothered?

NOTE: I don't, its because she's an incompetent idiot and probably doesn't realize how pathetically unconvincing it is.
The New York Times updated their story with a statement from Bari Weiss:

They aren't mad their perspective isn't taught - it is still taught, it is still the *primary* perspective taught.

They're mad that any other perspectives are included at all.

And, you know, fuck them. The United States is *more* than a white ethnostate.

When we say "no, everything hasn't been digitized," I need you to understand that we really mean is that virtually nothing has been digitized. This is because the realm of primary sources that historians use is incomprehensibly large.

It looks like it's been scrubbed from every official 60 Minutes page now.

It's only a 30-second promo but here it is if you didn't get a chance to see it.

The rate of return here is crazy: for a few hundred thousand dollars, this lab produces literally billions of oysters and supports a seafood industry worth hundreds of millions. And the Trump administration is just like "fuck all that, it's wasteful spending, you're fired"

We need an intense propaganda campaign just like....telling people what government spending does & how it benefits them, to undo the decades of the right brainwashing people that it's all fucking waste

Respectfully disagree with this imho class reductionist view that this is about billionaires not wanting their taxes raised. Vance is just a gutter racist, or at least pretending to be one to appeal to other gutter racists
Fwiw I think the “apologize for being white” thing is very clearly about making sure white people don’t feel an obligation to alleviate past injustices or make society fairer. Ultimately to do that you have to raise taxes and the billionaires holding Vance’s leash don’t want that.

[Just to painfully spell it out for those not paying attention...What they're "sometimes disagreeing" on that Jew-controlled drones have no tolerance for is e.g. whether the Holocaust happened]
JD Vance: "Wouldn't you rather lead a movement of freethinkers who sometimes disagree than a bunch of drones who take their orders from George Soros?"

This is also, importantly, not a criticism of the immigrants nor of immigration. To the extent that it is a criticism, it is one of *us* for failing to support them as we should have.
Yes, it’s entirely true that many of the migrants who came under the Biden admin did not have housing arranged for them when they arrived and so ended up in homeless shelters at first, at times for months, while they got on their feet. This is 100% true, not an anti-immigrant gotcha, just the facts.
The faction of the the left that lives for harassment is just slamming Matt for this, but he’s correct and this has been considered for years a major cause of the recent homelessness spike. Watching people maliciously misread his very short tweet and call him a “Nazi” is something else.

WELKER: Massie and Khanna say they are looking at options including impeachment and contempt for DOJ officials. Would you support those steps?

KAINE: I think that's premature

I honestly still can’t believe they did this

it’s just photos on a desk! it’s not even in the same league as his fucking birthday note! removing it after the fact is the biggest possible “we are covering shit up” signal they could possibly send, couldn’t look guiltier if they tried
This photo, file 468, from the Epstein files that includes Donald Trump has apparently now been removed from the DOJ release.

AG Bondi, is this true? What else is being covered up? We need transparency for the American public.

MattY mustering nothing more than an extended fart noise to the extensive deconstruction of him is about par for the course, yeah.
There’s nothing wrong with @casten.house.gov being an electoral underperformer in a safe seat, but in his thread attacking me he is asking Democrats to defer to his political judgment. I think it’s a smarter bet to defer to folks who overperform in tough races.

A bunch of FBI agents were told to break the law and, importantly, they followed that order. The next Dem admin must root those specific people out and prosecute them

49. The game isn't over by far. But make no mistake: we are winning. That's something to be proud of. It's something to accelerate. It's nothing to take for granted. And it's certainly no time to take Yglesias' advice and fumble the ball so the other team won't feel so sad. /fin

47. As Amory Lovins has said for years, no one wants a lump of coal, or a barrel of oil. All we want is a hot shower and a cold beer. And if we can get that heat and light and chilling without paying for (or burning) fuel, we're all happier... with one notable exception.

This is the hater energy that we need, get his ass!
21. And before team Yglesias responds by saying "yeah, but it's bad politics to run on climate and energy"... I'd point out that I've won 4 elections in a very purple district running on climate and energy. Pro-tip: leadership is possible! You don't have to be stupid to win!

3. Leadership is about doing what is necessary, not just what is popular. Read literally anything our founders wrote about virtue, and the inherent risks to a society based on democratic processes to sustain the rule of law to the extent that unvirtuous people gain power.
