This morning I noticed a man in a marked vehicle taking a photo of a house. As I flipped a u-turned I had to face the fact that I can’t be of much if any help if ICE tries to kidnap my neighbor.
I was relieved to realize USIC =\= USCIS.
That man was there to inspect for sidewalk damage.

My Thanksgiving fails: doubled the amount of milk called for in one recipe (turned out okay!) and wasted one and a half boxes of Mac and cheese because of clumsiness.
Grateful there were no real disasters considering I made the entire spread minus deviled eggs (sister) and pie (mom).

Everything that could ever happen happened in the two weeks between my therapy appointments. Like six sessions worth of shit. My therapist was overwhelmed, but I’m glad she recognized the juiciest stuff that I wanted to focus on.
