Ethics trains people to think about good decisions. But what if its simply that atoms move about and in aggregate this creates the appearance of human beings making choices?
Sociologists are trained to see everything through the lens of power imbalances. But what if it's simply that the marginal (expected) return from outside labor is greater than the marginal cost of the foregone domestic work?
We have to talk about how this glorification of overwork is driving care downstream.

Let’s not forget that Captain Hegseth was still in the reserves and subject to the UCMJ when he raped a California Republican Women’s group organizer in California in 2017.
Calling them the “Seditious Six” & branding their statements “despicable” before review is textbook definition of prejudgment. No panel, judge, or reviewing authority can claim neutrality once the SECDEF declares the accused guilty. This looks like the procedures used in dictatorships, not the US.
