There’s no “Deep State.” But there is a Steady State: experienced, patriotic public servants defending democracy.

We’re former natsec officials taking action against rising threats.

HARM CLOSE TO HOME: DISASTROUS WESTERN HEMISPHERE POLICIES BLOW BACK ON THE UNITED STATES
Other parts of the world hog the headlines, but Americans should pay close attention to the negative impact of Trump’s reckless actions in our immediate neighborhood.

The VP, a graduate of Yale Law School, stated that a U.S. Governor's actions are criminal without identifying a specific crime, the same day he claimed the President wasn't involved in prosecuting political rivals.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Trump said Pritzker should be in jail. Do you think he has committed a crime?

VANCE: I think Pritzker has certainly failed to keep the people of Illinois safe

S: It's a yes or no question

V: I certainly think he has violated his fundamental oath. That seems pretty criminal to me

Not being indicted doesn’t prove no pressure. It only proves an indictment hasn't happened. The real question: Did Trump lean on DOJ to go after his rivals? And we all saw him say it out loud in a tweet to Bondi.
atrupar.com
WELKER: Is the DOJ acting on orders from the president to prosecute his political opponents?

JD VANCE: No ... You know who we haven't prosecuted? Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton ... he's allowed to have opinions about law enforcement

According to state media, Kim Jong Il played his first-ever round of golf at the NPRK's only 18-hole course and:
Shot 38 under par,
Scored 11 holes-in-one, and
Immediately retired from the sport, satisfied that he had achieved perfection.
Seventeen bodyguards were said to have witnessed the feat.

Saying Dan Scavino will choose “almost all positions in government” implies a loyalty-based purge or centralization of hiring, not standard staffing. It echoes efforts like Project 2025 / Schedule F, aimed to dismantle civil service protections to replace expertise with loyalty.

Trump claims “274 of Biden’s FBI agents” were at Jan. 6 — except Biden wasn’t president. Those agents were there for crowd control, not to stage a false flag. Dictators rewrite facts to turn law enforcement into villains and themselves into victims. It’s not truth. It’s propaganda.

Trump vowed to gut Democratic “programs”—now it’s happening. An Education Dept. staffer says nearly the entire team managing IDEA funding for students with disabilities has been laid off. That’s the federal law protecting kids with special needs.

With GOP leaders branding the upcoming No Kings rally on October 18 a “hate America rally,” it’s worth revisiting General Mark Milley’s warning: “We don’t take an oath to a king, or a queen, or a tyrant, or a dictator. We take an oath to the Constitution.”

A sitting member of Congress pushing a resolution to award Trump a “Nobel Prize” is cult politics. In healthy democracies, leaders earn honors. In autocratic movements, loyalists rewrite reality to glorify the leader.

Rep. Buddy Carter: "Donald Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. That's why I'm introducing a resolution today that will honor him with the Nobel Peace Prize."

(It doesn't work like that lol)

Federal judges are sounding the alarm: dozens say the Supreme Court’s opaque emergency rulings on Trump policies are creating a “judicial crisis,” leaving lower courts in limbo and eroding public trust in the rule of law.

“No kings” is a peaceful protest against the idea that our president —no matter who they may be—is above the law.

No kings.

It all depends on whether there are, in fact, "available funds" -- depends on the appropriations language. Not sure how Pat Kennedy managed it (suspect it is part of some finagling in the language in the approps bill. But, without Congress ok, can't have a rainy day fund.
