A #thetwen2ie5 note : according to my calculations, the best candidates for your CMAT HMs are Nashville, Jamie Oliver Petrol Station*, Stay for Something and Euro Country.

* I think JOPS has enough points already to qualify in the 25/26 round *IF* I've understood the rules correctly.

Seemingly it's just me and her that think that, so much so I had to double check its release date

If they actually wanted you to have it they'd have given it to you years ago and then inheritance tax wouldn't be due.
Did they really work hard for that £1.2m? Or did they get shockingly lucky benefiting from a stupid housing market? This is almost entirely unearned wealth, it's largely the result of dumb luck. And Jill is still walking anyway with £1m of it!

Just starting a gofundme for the millionaire Jill Lemon
I don't think this was actually deliberately published as ragebait, but the entitlement contained within is remarkable and a classic example of the sort of sentiment governments sometimes just have to face down inews.co.uk/inews-lifest...?
We were hit with a £148k inheritance tax bill when mum died at 97 - it's disgusting

There was a brief but weird trend at my high school of girls wearing lizards as earrings. Like. Live, unharmed, wild lizards. You just catch one and pick it up and wave a finger a bit and then hold it to your earlobe and they’ll bite and dangle all day. I do not recommend this but. it was a thing
The alligator lizard promptly bit the shit out of my finger.

ICYMI: astonishingly detailed and fascinating thread about BBC TV's schedule of Fri 22 Nov 1963 which began as just a normal Friday.
It was 62 years ago #OnThisDay in 1963 that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.

Here's a piece I wrote for the History of the BBC website a couple of years ago about how the BBC covered the news.

I'm quite pleased with this one...

It’s a sign of how insane the news cycle is these days that this historic failure of government policy got just one day of news coverage this week.

Not saying that’s right or wrong, but it’s astonishing how quickly the agenda moves on these days.
