Honestly, the potential case for getting rid of Starmer before was the lack of any political project and absence of charisma. But now No.10 is creating a moral imperative for the PLP to act as well.

so, the Mail are going to endorse Labour now?

right?

right?
"The Home Secretary has finally grasped something about immigration few in Labour understand." [Stephen Glover, Mail]

"For a Labour Cabinet minister to talk in such terms is incredible – the more so if one considers that Ms Mahmood is the daughter of immigrants, albeit ones that came here legally."

If they actually looked at Denmark, they'd see that the jewellery seizure policy is so useless Denmark barely even applies it, it's purely performative cruelty
Intrigued that the Labour Party has a Denmark policy - seize jewellery and assets from asylum seekers - and also an anti-Denmark policy - don’t tax middle earners enough to support welfare state.

Speaking to reporters on board Air Force One on Friday evening, Trump said: "We'll sue them for anywhere between a billion and $5bn probably sometime next week."
Trump says he will sue BBC for at least $1bn over Panorama edit
The US president told reporters on Air Force One that he will take legal action against the broadcaster and will call Sir Keir Starmer over the weekend.

one of the underlying factors in all the Epstein stuff is that his correspondents - even the ones who likely did not participate in abuse themselves - are completely incapable of imagining his victims as people. he is real to them, the girls aren't.

Blimey. Major new split in Your Party. Blackburn MP Adnan Hussain -who is secretary of the Your Party company - says he's quitting due to "persistent infighting, factional competition, and a struggle for power, position and influence rather than a shared commitment to the common good."

What Americans don't understand is 'crassly forgetting Northern Ireland' is a core part of British culture, like cueing and only being able to communicate via laconic understatement.
No. No. It's absurd enough to think this for Americans, but fucking Brits!? Do you not know your own history!? Part of the country was in a civil war!

you can't tell me that the people saying "we'll make anyone who's co-authored a paper with a Chinese person in the last 5 years ineligible for future federal funding" don't know exactly what they are doing
“The prohibited activities would include joint research, co-authorship on papers, and advising a foreign graduate student or postdoctoral fellow. The language is retroactive, meaning any interactions during the previous 5 years could make a scientist ineligible for future federal funding.”
