One of the hardest things to do is bring campaign-level communications to the work of governance, and snowstorms are notoriously one of the biggest litmus tests that less-engaged voters use to judge mayoral administrations. This is an excellent way to communicate.

In the age of Donald Trump, he’s miles ahead of any Republican likely to run for the same office. The Democratic bench is deep with strong candidates, but if Newsom is the nominee, I’ll have zero hesitation pulling the lever for him on Election Day. No purity tests — just a clear choice.

I cannot stress enough how much I loved the old B&W Addams Family. Wasn't even my era, but just keeps getting better with every episode.
this is a thing people forget because they tend to think of their favorite actors as static in terms of skill. everyone on TNG and DS9, including Patrick Stewart, is a WORSE actor in episode one than they were by episode 60. it's good to force actors to inhabit a role longer! They get better at it.
