Looking for two more potential dynasty managers for a 2026 dynasty superflex league startup to bump it from 10 to 12 managers. Friendly league.

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

So final fantasy football season recap:
1. 2nd place guillotine finish
2. 3rd place finish
3. 2x 4th place finish

Not exactly the playoff season I was hoping for but the wife won the friend league I got third in so the total family winnings is $400 ($350 for her and $50 for me lol).

The birth of my twin boys has to be the highlight of my life. Helping feed and care for them the past many months has been challenging and amazing. Proud of my partner and I. Twin life is an amazing and cute adventure.
I literally have nothing that I'm proud of in 2025. It was actually the worst year I can remember.

It can only go up from here I guess?
Every year around this time I do the same thread and it has been a lot of fun.

Tell me something you did in 2025 that you're proud of that you want everyone to know about. Did you write a book? Did you get a promotion? Did you survive the year?

I want to spend the end of the year celebrating you.

For the first time since 2018, the Bears are NFC North champs and will host a playoff game.

Pay him all the dollars. Without this man Vikings are an empty shell of a team. Vikings blintz packages have won them every W this season. Unlike glass bone JJ

Plato argued in the Republic that the 'tyrant,' or someone with unlimited wealth and power, would live the worst possible life because his soul would be devoured by lawless, unlimited desires that could never be sated. I think we've gotten confirmation of this from more cases than Trump lately
I always thought Plato was pretty pollyannaish on this point, but this is decent evidence for the view that a man of bad character will therefore be unhappy even with every external trapping of success and good fortune.
President Donald Trump gifted the world with nearly 200 Truth Social posts (and counting) on Christmas Day, where he amplified conspiracy theories about the 2020 election and called for a member of Congress to be deported.

Leave it to IHOP to sneak under the wire of 2025 and give us not only one of the best sports ads this season, but potentially an all-timer.

Malik Nabers getting roasted by a child for his FF season is one of the best ads this year
This is just too good.

I dunno man all of these situations and videos have my blood boiling for the callousness, hatred and obvious illegal nature of it all, but this one Jesus Christ is going to sit with me for a long while
ICE detain father shopping on Christmas Eve—then steal his family's groceries.

Then 3 agents divvy up his paid for food—taking what they want for themselves.

"Can I just get the wife's number to call and let her know?" woman asks.

"No, guess he should've complied," agent says.

the zoom interviews were unbelievably bad
NFL broadcasts basically only work because TV has been a unionized business for a long time so naturally Netflix and Amazon look like children comparatively
December 26, 2025 at 1:05 AM
Why yes, we need more awkward zoom calls with hall of famers. Netflix has it all
December 25, 2025 at 11:31 PM
Love how Netflix isn’t giving injury updates or really any statistical analysis

Netflix has such a schizophrenic broadcast, just randomly cutting in a Manningcast interview with Barry Sanders because it sounded cool to someone at HQ but they still try to keep going on with color and PBP inbetween. Dreadful day if they get a bigger stake of NFL games

The whole thing is the epitome of anti-Christ in a very fundamental way
There’s something in here about how after Jesus was born, Joseph fled with Jesus and Mary to Egypt under the cover of night…for ~4 years until Herod died.
