Since we're all shifting here, time to make this my main.

Camera Assistant and Production Coordinator in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand.
Chicken brining attempt one. Blended the water with some herbs, alliums and bay leaves. Will see how that goes.
It's frozen, so it's brining overnight. And then tomorrow we smoke the bitch!

Why can cats stomp? Who gave them that ability? Little fuzzy creatures with pads for stealth going "thunk thunk thunk" on the floor? For what purpose?!

Ireland, you have the chance to do the funniest thing ever.
Under Irish law Musk can be jailed for 12 months for being a director of a company distributing CSAM. Section 9 of the Child Trafficking and Pornography Act 1998. 'X' is a company registered in Ireland.

I've been slowly working my way through the BBC's Titanic Sinks Tonight.
It's not good. I'm pretty much yelling at the TV.

That said, the Honor and Glory team did an absolutely fantastic job on the visuals. Incredible to see how far they've come, can't wait until they release the game.

I have OPINIONS on the BBC's Titanic Sinks Tonight.

It's not complimentary.

I will say that the Titanic Honor and Glory team did a fantastic job on the visuals, I'm so impressed with what they do - always.

And on a muahaha level...my script idea is still intact. 😉

Singing along to the MCR LLTBP!!! Toronto performance of Mama not like an elder emo after a few gins, but like a feral multiplanar being tearing tendon from bone to escape a trap.

It is my favourite of the 2025 tour, I think.

Why are big garden pots so goddamn expensive?
Like, I'll do it because its decoration and tbh I don't wanna look at plastic forever but fuck me

Gave myself blisters cooking! Tiramisu (sabayon) and lasagna (bechamel) were too much for my delicate skin!

The Samoan church down the road is absolutely popping off with the Christmas tunes atm!
Hell yeah folks, sing your hearts out!

Side garden bed is planted, time to start moving down the 2 shitty bottomless planters on the deck to make them garden beds.

Thems for the bluebs and the lettuce.

Are Tiramisu and Lasagna festive foods?

Well they are now! Damn lasagna takes me a good 8 hours to make.

TFW you put your whole ass into gardening but in your hubris you forget that your whole ass is too much ass

I introduced a friend to Fury Road today.
God DAMN but its been a while and I'd forgotten just how exceptional it is.

It truly just gets me so pumped about cinema as an entire artform. I miss making films so much, guys.

Choosing to focus, on hearing the news of Rob Reiner's passing, to remember this moment where he was so overcome with joy and laughter that he - the director of the movie - was one of many people banished from the set in order to finish filming.
TIL nearly all of the "Miracle Max" scene from Princess Bride was improvised by Billy Crystal, and it took three ten hour days to shoot, because they couldn't get through his improv without everyone (cast and crew) laughing so hard it ruined the audio.

Mandy Patinkin bruised a rib holding it in.

I hated it so much. Many swears were expleted and I both came to understand why so many people don’t even bother looking where their car is about to go anymore, and to reinforce my resolve to keep my old manual-transmission running as long as humanly possible bc FUCK that crap!

I've got some friends coming over to watch Fury Road. They haven't seen it and this is personally offensive to me lol

But first...had to check the colour balance on my TV for safety. And Fury Road is my go-to balance check film. If your balance is off even a bit, the colour bleeds!
