“Defund the Police” does not sound good to sensible moderate voters. It is one of the most unpopular slogans the left has ever run. Polling showed is was unpopular with pretty much every voting block - including black voters, in the wake of George Floyd. The GOP used it in THEIR ads.
okay since it appears i have to spell this out even more: “defund the police” — a thing that sounds good to sensible moderate voters, who exist and are uncomfortable with sudden change — can, if we make it, be a stalking horse for “moves that effectively abolish the police”

I was having problems with a script that scraped data so I turned to AI to help me and it's taken the AI several iterations and resulted in file names "output", "output_fixed", "output_final", "output_results_final", "outputs_results_fixed", "output_results_authorized" and "output_v1_final".
