if you all want to be on the side opposite Elizabeth Warren, fine. I'm on the side she's on.

if everyone were to go to this person’s twitter account and steal their prompts, there’s a non-zero chance they’ll learn something.

very thrilled that the Texans proved me wrong.

By way of comparison, "Black Lives Matter" was a hugely effective strategy that seemed to be hugely effective at helping create an appetite in the public for police reform. The polling reversed when we started saying "Defund the Police" instead.

Slogans aren’t sacrosanct. They exist to change public position and win elections. “Defund the Police” moved the public in the opposite direction on both fronts, even though if you polled what the slogan meant, the public generally agreed.

“Defund the Police” does not sound good to sensible moderate voters. It is one of the most unpopular slogans the left has ever run. Polling showed is was unpopular with pretty much every voting block - including black voters, in the wake of George Floyd. The GOP used it in THEIR ads.
okay since it appears i have to spell this out even more: “defund the police” — a thing that sounds good to sensible moderate voters, who exist and are uncomfortable with sudden change — can, if we make it, be a stalking horse for “moves that effectively abolish the police”

maybe the best thing to come out of Brady playing well until 45 is Rodgers thinking he can do the same

I kinda hope he doesn’t.

Because, well, I hate the Steelers and his flashes of brilliance are not enough to overcome his toxicness.
January 13, 2026 at 4:19 AM
That play may well be the last play of Aaron Rodgers career.
January 13, 2026 at 4:09 AM
That interception was magical if you hate Aaron Rodgers.
January 13, 2026 at 4:07 AM
I think those were both first quarter FGs. It’s been a long time since the Steelers O did anything impressive.
January 13, 2026 at 4:05 AM
There’s still some time to turn on the game and see some primo Aaron Rodgers 1000 yard stare.

Another Touchdown.

The best, absolutely-not-toxic-at-all part about this is watching him lash out at his teammates.
January 13, 2026 at 4:00 AM
Basically the Steeler O-line is acting just like a turnstile for the Texans D.

Me watching this.

I feel bad for Aaron Rodgers*

*is what I would say to signal to my family I have been kidnapped.

This Houston D is capable of absolutely collapsing a pocket with a 3-man rush. Aaron Rodgers is constantly running for his life and when he does make a throw, it’s often with a guy in his lap.
January 13, 2026 at 3:51 AM
I’m sorry, I cannot get on board with the guys who look like they’re wearing giant oven mitts over their helmets.
January 13, 2026 at 3:48 AM
I get to see a big man touchdown AND some primo Aaron Rodgers bitchface, this game has everything.
January 13, 2026 at 3:44 AM
This game is fascinating because neither half of the Steelers look particularly good, and so this game is coming down to the dominance of the Houston D vs. the absolute incompetence of the Houston O.
January 13, 2026 at 3:37 AM
If he keeps this up, they’re gonna straight up appoint him the Governor of Illinois.
January 13, 2026 at 3:27 AM
I feel like the Steelers are going to win this game, but nonetheless I am really enjoying Aaron Rodgers being a pissy little bitch to his teammates.
