I think this transition, as with many, was always going to be messy and will be net good, but it would sure help to not have a bunch of detached Silicon Valley VC billionaires being the face of the push to put it everywhere esp. when not needed. The term AI has become a curse word for so many.

The thing is that the sanctimonious fringe vegans do a good enough job at this. You don't need to help them. PeTA has done incredible work helping to damage veganism.
This is worth a read. The meat industry, as has been documented, is involved in all sorts of disinfo campaigns, including online posting and trolling.
