The idea of ProPublica of all outlets using GAI makes me want to vomit
It's simple — @propublica.org workers should not be replaced by artificial intelligence. Our contract proposal specifically says that generative artificial intelligence ("GAI") should not be used to replace employees. Management struck out this entire section in their response to our proposal.

A good example of how my brain works is that when I added a 90 minute swim practice to my weekly work out regimen, it simply never occurred to me that adding that much extra swimming was going to make me tired and less able to do things like, say, run

This made me realize that I'm pretty sure we don't have these little delivery bots in NYC, probably because there's so much pedestrian traffic that they would get destroyed, and god bless us for that
