Hundreds of kids are still detained.

Less than 14% of nearly 400,000 immigrants arrested by ICE in Trump's first year back had charges or convictions for violent criminal offenses, according to an internal DHS document obtained by CBS News — undermining the admin's claim that they're primarily targeting dangerous and violent criminals.

I genuinely have no idea how to convey this to the American people, but I think the biggest impediment to any kind of immigration reform is that people are convinced that "legal" and "illegal" are immutable, intrinsic categories instead of a rapidly-shifting arbitrary constellation of regulations.

As protests grow and ICE's popularity drops, we may see concessions and leadership changes, like Bovino's departure. ICE still has to go.

Hope doesn't find us. We make hope through action and struggle. It's a practice of living and is re-made daily.

Almost as though they lie to validate their crimes, hate, and violence.

The 5-year-old arrested by ICE In Minnesota is detained at Dilley. We reported on conditions there in the below article.

Parents said the food was contaminated with mold and worms & that children were so under so much stress that they were hitting their own faces & wetting themselves.
Analysis by The Marshall Project of ICE data obtained by the Deportation Data Project found that the Trump administration’s revival of family detention has swept thousands of children into ICE custody. At least 3,800 children under 18, including 20 infants, have been booked since Trump took office.
