Something upsetting I learned in my travels: an HIV-prevention worker whose org in South Africa went from 86 ppl to 4(!) told me that if I went on Grindr (& he suggested I do not, as it's dangerous), I'd find many of his "former colleagues offering services"—bc sex work is their only option
