Did anyone else have to read this in high school?
Just started reading Future Shock, the book on every suburban shelf in the early 1970s.

Anyone else out there read this recently?

I read a few snippets with my wife and found myself using @michaelhobbes.bsky.social 's cadence. Don't think @ifbookspod.bsky.social covered this one, yet.

The orange cat thing has baffled me for years! Four years apparently...
Out of curiosity I did a google trends search for "are orange cats dumb". As you can see, there was nothing for 17 years and then a distinct change in late 2021 which is when @jortsthecat.bsky.social hit the internet. 😆
