I don’t mean to sound Woke or partisan but this upset me a bit
ICE pretended to arrest a 21 yo in order to force her to call her undocumented mother to come leave the house (where she was safe from ICE arrest) to care for her baby. When the mother came, she was abducted and the daughter was suddenly of no interest to ICE.

The thing is, while they're not right about a lot of things, vegans are actually correct that our industrial food system is wildly exploitative and unsustainable. But their weird black and white thinking helps keep better practices from being widely adopted.
