I enjoyed reading this column, which somehow blames Keir Starmer for the result of an employment tribunal following laws passed under the Tory government regarding an incident and suspension that took place before the last election.

No water, no heating, no power, -15 degree weather outside.

It is not on the front pages of your newspapers, but Ukraine is living through a humanitarian disaster right now because of Russian bombardment and the world has barely noticed.

In 1988, the BBC paid tribute to the heroic work of the humanist Nicholas Winton, an English stockbroker who saved more than 650 Jewish children ahead of WWII on the Kindertransport. Winton, sitting in the audience, was not aware he was sitting among the very same people he saved. Beautiful.

We were deriding you because you are patently unwilling to fund a viable alternative to consensual US hegemony in democratic Europe. You’d get to preen if you’d been calling for massive defence spending hikes, an independent nuclear deterrent, minimising out-of-home-theatre commitments and so on.
When we said NATO wasn't working we were derided.

When we said a nuclear weapons system relying on the US is dangerous we were called stupid.

The truth is the establishment are more interested in kissing US feet than keeping the UK safe.

It's time for a rethink.

This victory lap Zack and supporters are doing would be earned if he’d been derided for saying the US should be kicked out of NATO, but what he was actually derided for was calling for the UK to leave NATO

Good article this. Racism really is the reverse of a performance-enhancing drug, the mad, stupid shit it leads people to believe in and to do:

This is as ever really good from Charlotte Edwards: she has a knack for drawing out an interviewee and letting them show you themselves for who they really are. And Danny Kruger does exactly that here, and doesn't come out of it as I suspect he had hoped. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

There wasn't a £37bn Covid testing contract. And Dido Harding was never handed a contract, she was head of NHS Improvement who was seconded to run Test And Trace. And the total amount that Randox was paid by the NHS was 133 million. But you're right, Matt Hancock WAS MP for Newmarket.
Newmarket MP Matt Hancock gave a £37bn Covid testing contract to Jockey Club director Dido Harding, who subcontracted it to Grand National sponsor Randox, employer of Tory MP Owen Paterson, whose late wife chaired Aintree racecourse. That's how the Tories handled the pandemic.
