So this is an interesting thing you see in UK politics: one can openly be an unbeliever so long as one professes a desire to maintain a Christian cultural legacy and hegemony. Which can be a bit weird, whether you’re coming at it from a Christian perspective or an atheist one.
I disagree very profoundly with Mrs Thatcher, as did many of the members of the General Assembly, but she had actually thought her position out (and she was speaking from her own, genuine, faith, rather than rather oddly denouncing things as “unchristian” when you don’t believe in God).

This is both offensive and intentional. If the ICE agents are "ignorant" they are willfully and deliberately ignorant. Their job is not to uphold the law but to terrorize non-white Americans in service to the white nationalist cause.
