I did a little science experiment this afternoon. Baked two loaves of bread, one in a cold Dutch oven, the other in a preheated Dutch oven. Same batch of dough, same timing, same preheated oven temperature of 450. But you can tell which is which.

Congressional oversight?
Process just doesn't matter to this administration, since it's a tyrannical oligarchy.

I'm starting to think the "gifted" programs I was in as a kid were maybe just special ed for ADHD kids. Because everyone that talks about being put in one for the same reasons, with similar results.

I've never been tested, but, uh... maybe I should do that.

Alice Wong made waves that went far. A tremendous loss. Memory eternal.
The incredible, indomitable, inspirational Alice Wong has left us.

I'm so grateful to have known her on social media, and so grateful for all the words she shared with us and all the actions she encouraged us into making.

May we live up to her example.
