Amanda is correct as usual. I'd like to shout out "Backyard Brawl" and "100 miles of hate" (mtsu-wku) as personal faves as well
Going to go ahead and stake a claim right now since the game is this weekend: “Brawl of the Wild” is the best rivalry name in college football

8675309 is prime, and so is 8675311, so if you ever need a middlin'-large pair of adjacent primes to test your cryptographic suite, all you need is a 1980s earworm and a +2 and you're all set.
Man, everything is so bleak, anyone got a fun fact or little bit of trivia they want to share

A better world is possible
“Helsinki hasn’t registered a single traffic-related fatality in the past year…Citing data that shows the risk of pedestrian fatality is cut in half by reducing a car’s speed from 40 to 30km/hr, city officials imposed the lower limit in most of Helsinki’s residential areas & city center in 2021.”
Helsinki just went a full year without a single traffic death
The capital city is Finnish’ed with car-related fatalities.

I think the less-valuable schools are mostly into it for the GOR extension. I have no idea what Ohio state is thinking with this bullshit (but we know Ted Carter is a bullshitter who loves grifters)
okay probably won't be allowed to keep this headline but now that my morning reading is done I better put my head down and try to finally finish this

I have been saying for years that we need to pay electeds and their staff way more
The Mayor of New York only makes $260k. I bet there are police that make more than that in NY with overtime.

We need to pay elected leaders more money and stop pretending it's some sort of calling. They're managing hundreds of billions of dollars in investments and millions of people's lives.

For me it's Timothy Olyphant: the villain from Live Free or Die Hard
I think everybody has a “Wallace Shawn from Young Sheldon” — my first one would probably be “Vincent Price, the guy who did the voice of Ratigan in The Great Mouse Detective”

My sources are expecting Auburn to have a deal in place shortly with Cincinnati’s Scott Satterfield, who may have been distracted by contract negotiations in last night’s loss
SOURCES: Auburn has fired head coach Hugh Freeze, @theathletic.com has learned.

Comes one day after a 10-3 loss to Kentucky to fall to 1-5 in SEC play. DJ Durkin will be the interim head coach.
