Everyone involved in this needs to face criminal charges
ICYMI — In negative degrees weather they took a LEGAL naturalized citizen out in his underwear, after trashing his house.

They released him an hour later.

The cruelty is the point. (From @thejfreakinc.bsky.social )

‘The family said no warrant was presented, agents did not ask for Thao’s ID, but they “nevertheless forcibly entered the home with weapons drawn.” ‘

Utter lawlessness. One of the few things holding it to account is great reporting as @marisakabas.bsky.social is doing
New — I wrote about ChongLy Scott Thao, the elderly Hmong American wrongly arrested and forced out of his home by ICE in his underwear during the punishing Minnesota winter, what witnesses saw, and DHS's racist claim that he fit the description of another Asian man they were looking for.

My story:
Behind the disturbing image of ICE snatching a half-naked, elderly Hmong American from his home
DHS has claimed without evidence that they were looking for someone else when they took ChongLy Scott Thao.

An FBI agent conducted an initial review of the Renee Good killing and determined sufficient grounds existed to open a civil rights probe into the actions of the ICE officer who shot her. Justice Department says no inquiry is warranted. @perrystein.bsky.social www.washingtonpost.com/national-sec...

Pretty strong elsewhere (I'm in Hopkins). Got pulled over twice, guns drawn both times, to give me "final warnings" to stop following them.

Minneapolis observers: our signal channels are not secret, unvetted, or unmonitored. Please assume the feds (and police) are on all of them. What you are doing is incredibly courageous but not risk-free and they likely know who most or all of us are. Strength in numbers, not anonymity.

This is what happened in our neighborhood yesterday. ICE snatched a human being off of our streets, roughed them up badly, and then pepper sprayed legal observers as they documented it all. This is a daily occurrence happening all throughout Minnesota right now.

Folks, I need your help. idk if this account is on staff at DHS or just making pocket money. But, they need to be banished.

It's easy. Here's profile URL:

Go to "Replies." See how they keep spamming the same X screenshot about an elderly Hmong man? Report each instance. 🙏🏼

Never forget that billionaires spend billions to convince you that voting doesn't matter. Don't help them. Voting isn't the ONLY thing we can do, but it is the most powerful check on the executive. "Don't bother voting because there'll be no free elections" is oligarch propaganda.

DHS said in October that "comparing ICE day-in and day-out to the Nazi gestapo, the Secret Police, and slave patrols has consequences."

After I found one of their lawyers for ICE is a racist and a self-described fascist who has praised Hitler, there have been no consequences.

Will you also investigate the ICE agent who played a noisemaker over Catholic prayer for immigrants? Or times when I & other clergy & lay have been tear-gassed, assaulted, insulted, stalked, & in the case of professed Christian Renee Good, murdered, for living Jesus’ command to love God & neighbor?

Folks, if Richard Hanania now wants to fight the administration, racism and fascism, you let him do it and don't grind his nose in all the shit he did to make it happen until after the fight is won.

You don't trust him, you don't rely on him. But you don't shit on his claimed conversion. Yet.
