this is funny but you get quite a bit wrong.

for example, he wasn’t accusing them of back room lobbying, he was talking about twitter posts & tv scheduling which is way funnier

A huge night for Democrats:

—They flip Miami's mayorship.
—They flip a state House district in Georgia that had voted Trump by 13%.
—They keep Albuquerque's mayorship, while the liberal faction flips city council.
—And they get big overperformances (+18 & +22) in 2 Florida specials.

Jeff Capel would be disappointed in our lack of force.
Big 6th grade basketball game tonight. I hope my team plays with the necessary force that's required to be good on either side of the ball.

bizarre because the ACC benefits from UMiami getting in and does not benefit from Notre Dame getting in and thus it's the responsible and rational action to do whatever possible in your conference's favor! Notre Dame is mad at the ACC for doing what a conference is expected to do!

these things aren't directly connected, but it's wildly disappointing to see various people in the media cape for Olivia Nuzzi and none of her fellow reporters in that room stand up for Rachel Scott

ACC TV Ratings
1️⃣ Miami: 3.07M avg. viewers per contest
2️⃣ FSU: 2.32M avg.
3️⃣ GT: 2.07M avg.
4️⃣ Clemson: 1.94M avg.
5️⃣ UNC: 1.15M
6️⃣ Pitt: 1.07M avg. viewers
✔️avg all 17 ACC mbrs: 1.10M

Noon games sucked for Pitt but really helped viewership with games being on ABC

My assumption coming into this playoff cycle was that Phillips was gonna cut a personal wrestling promo to show his non-ND membership that he had a pulse after running a flatline when FSU got bumped in 2023. Imo, him not doing that was restraint. But you feel singled out by a biz partner, fair play

Jim Phillips barely even said anything about Notre Dame in the press. Did the ACC make a case for its football teams behind closed doors? Probably. But this is embarrassing. You're not in the ACC in football. You're not "mystified" by why they'd argue for their team over your team. You're just sad

Very weak stuff by Bevacqua. The ACC didn't even go hard against Notre Dame in the press, explicitly to avoid this kind of outcome. Notre Dame got screwed here and Bevacqua is looking for someone he can bully as a result, which I get, but c'mon

Notre Dame had become dangerously close to likable after the transition from Kelly to Freeman and I'm glad they're doing the work to correct that.

The NFL officiating office has just released a memo about this call.

They’re saying that even though the receiver completed all the necessary elements for a ruling of a catch, the replay officials “thought it looked kinda weird” and “didn’t like how he held it out” and overruled for those reasons.
Isaiah Likely may be physically unable to score a touchdown.

That drop may cost the Ravens their shot at the playoffs as they turn the ball over on downs 3 plays later.
