I would push back a bit because broken tackle rates - and average yards after contact - correlate with average yards before contact. And Derrick Henry has exemplified that broad trend for his whole career.

I suspect the Ravens rightly believe Henry will improve as Lamar and the offense does.

What if Aaron Donald does this with the Rams?
The Lions offensive line just got a lot better, as one the game's greats will return -- Center Frank Ragnow is returning. Sounds like he's in shape and ready to roll sooner, rather than later.

Happy Thanksgiving to the Lions.

Accuracy is hardly his strength, but Trevor Lawrence is not a bad outlier with his off-target rate on unpressured throws like Dillon Gabriel or J.J. McCarthy per @ftnfantasy.com.

I have yet to hear a compelling argument that Lawrence deserves the blame for his league-leading 29 drops (!) this year.

I wonder if Brian Flores is playing mind games in telling reporters that he'll blitz his former quarterback Sam Darnold.

Flores loves to blitz, and Darnold has a higher interception rate vs. blitzes this year.

But the Rams shut Darnold down with a near-season-low blitz rate against him in Week 11.

The Bills have a monopoly on Amari Coopers
After clearing waivers, free agent WR Brandin Cooks is signing with the Bills, Buffalo announced.

I was curious, how rare is it to be No. 1 in both offensive and defensive DVOA like the Rams are now.

It's VERY rare.

Since 1978, these are the only teams to achieve this after Week 10 or later.

1994 Cowboys Wk 12-13
2001 Rams Wk 16-17
2007 Pats Wk 11
2014 Broncos Wk 10, 13
2025 Rams Wk 12

Reminder that Omarion Hampton has a 27.3% broken tackle rate that is the 3rd highest among RBs with 50 or more carries this season and just ahead of Jonathan Taylor (25.4%) and Jahmyr Gibbs (23.9%) per @sportsinfosolutions.com

The NFL could have saved itself the grief of the impending public spit vs. nut shot debate by giving Tre'von Moehrig the Coach K-Grayson Allen "indefinite" suspension
The NFL is suspending Panthers safety Tre'von Moehrig one game for punching 49ers WR Jauan Jennings below the belt during Carolina’s 20-9 loss Monday night.

JSN may have tightened his hold on Offensive Player of the Year honors, but I wouldn't hold Jonathan Taylor's quiet Week 12 against him.

His 31.3% stuff rate was the 2nd highest of the week per @ftnfantasy.com - effectively the RB equivalent of a WR having a third of his targets be uncatchable.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has somehow increased his yards per route run from 4.56 through 9 weeks to 4.58 through 12 weeks.

Tyreek Hill in 2023 (4.10) and A.J. Brown in 2024 (3.79) are the only 2 receivers within a yard of him at this point in the season this decade per @ftnfantasy.com.

It turns out Shedeur Sanders had the worst off-target pass rate in Week 12 per @ftnfantasy.com, so allow me to be the 1st person to speculate that Sanders might not have been good in his 1st pro start

The Giants giving up 1,886 rushing yards - 170 more than any other team - when they lead by multiple scores in every 2nd half is the exact opposite of Myles Garrett leading the league with 18 sacks when Browns opponents never need to drop back for a pass
The NY Giants have allowed 6.04 yards per carry, not including scrambles or aborted plays.

No other team since 1978 allowed more than 5.5 yards per carry in its first 12 games.

Bryce Young threw for 448 yards last week and he's still averaging less than 200 passing yards per game this season
