We are far past the stage of permissiveness with white-supremacist violence inside DHS. We are witnessing ICE transition into a death squad.

This cannot be reformed. The only question is who will fight to abolish it, and who will accommodate it instead.
Either ICE Is Abolished or It Will Kill Many More Renee Goods
Minnesota is just the beginning of ICE's transformation into a right-wing death squad. But it can be the end

From a good friend in Minneapolis: "Target is allowing ICE to stage in their parking lots, use their restrooms, and abduct people from inside their stores - so if you weren’t boycotting already, now is the time." They were staging in Chicago as well.

We will now begin naming ICE and BORTAC agents who have been participating in kidnapping and murder.

Meet T.J. Rico of McAllen, TX, a BORTAC agent who accompanied Greg Bovino to Chicago and Minneapolis. Rico is married to a famous Unvision news anchor who covers CBP, raising concerns of bias.

Gentle reminder that EVERYONE shot by ICE or the police is innocent. Every single one. Cops aren't Judge Dredd. A person is innocent until proven guilty IN A COURT, so until a person is found guilty by a judge or jury, they're innocent. They're ALL innocent.

If you didn't already cancel your subscription to WaPo, now is a good time. This Editorial Board take is shite. The application of conditions and means-testing to tightly target only those in need only serves to exclude most of those in need. It adds admin costs, creates stigma, and wrecks outcomes.
"The purpose of entitlements is not to spend as much as possible," the Editorial Board writes.

"It is to make sure the truly vulnerable get the help they need without becoming dependent on government handouts. Scrutinizing food stamp rolls is a small step in that direction."

One of the many reasons "Abolish ICE" has been a popular refrain on the left — besides the fact that borders and border security means violence — is that ICE and CBP were always going to be the agencies that would become the SS.

And the comparative silence in media coverage is absolutely DAMNING.

“Why are ppl always so afraid of crime?”

THIS is why. When crime goes up, media trips over itself to report it.

Falls to pre-war (!!) levels? Just CRICKETS.
I count 10 cities in 2025 that are on track to have the fewest murders since at least 1970. Newark is on pace to have the fewest murders since 1956 (though only have data through Oct this year) and San Francisco is on pace to have the fewest murders since 1942.

It’s why I authored legislation to make PG&E publicly owned. Utilities must serve the public, not shareholders.🧵
