4) Wait for the US president to enforce your wish list on your victim.

Listening to Broadcast's b-sides/rarities comp The Future Crayon, and I don't half miss them. Trish Keenan's death was such a loss. I'd love for one of the new pop girlies to "discover" them and evangelise about them, or for an "out of nowhere" TikTok hit to put them back in the conversation.

If there is a CEASEFIRE in place and a country continues firing, that is not a “test“ that is a violation. There’s no wiggle room here, that is the inarguable objective reality. This is, non hyperbolically, logic that a 5-year-old would understand. But somehow it cannot be said by mainstream media.

Can I also just say that this is brilliant reporting by my pal Jude, questioning not only where Westminster's priorities lie but how we consume our news & what that means when things like this get ignored:

Two of the 🐐 - happy birthday to one of my legit musical influences and all-time favourite musicians.
Happy 75th birthday to Tina Weymouth. Love this photo of her and Grandmaster Flash, taken by Laura Levine in 1981. Spotted at MAC's fab Golden Age of Hip Hop exhibition in Marseille several years ago

Sorry to keep banging on about it but it's literally *they are on Twitter and think it's the majority view*
This is pretty striking and makes me wonder exactly what Labour have been up to in making policy seemingly in response to / fear of the former rather than the middle group.
Why do people think England flags have been raised on lampposts?

I know for a fact Fatboy Slim's label hit Lord Finesse off with a *nice* bit of scratch for "check it out now, the funk soul brother" on Rockafeller Skank, but I never did find out if they offered Angela Bassett the same deal.
There’s nothing like the dopamine hit from the first time you recognize that Fatboy Slim sampled Angela Bassett’s line in STRANGE DAYS (1995) for “Right Here, Right Now”.

I'm not saying the Trump Administration is stacked with Soviet assets.

I'm just wondering, if they *were* Soviet assets, what would they be doing differently?

Vincent Price's feature on Thriller was a last-minute decision, and there was only a brief window of opportunity to get it down. Rod Temperton had to come up the monologue during the cab ride to the session, so the words you hear Vincent Price reciting hadn't even been written an hour or so earlier.
Man, everything is so bleak, anyone got a fun fact or little bit of trivia they want to share

This is what "legitimate concerns" has led us to, the logical endpoint of "ooh, you can't just call people racist!", and frankly you can fuck all the way off with that. If people are racist and express racist views or endorse racist opinions, then yes, you can call them that. Indeed, you should. 1/
I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s hugely patronising. “Poor wool-headed angels being duped into voting for racists” - no they’re choosing to vote for racists because they’re racist and the patronising effort to woo them only makes it worse. Shame them. Enough will peel off.

About that Liverpool show, it fell on the weekend Yanited clinched the 99/00 Premiership title. Mani was a Yanited fan, and at the Primals' Manchester show earlier that week there happened to be a few #LFC fans in the house crew at the venue, and they decided to have a bit of fun with him. 1/
Mani was that rare breed of musician where any band he was in was improved by virtue of him being in it. I saw the XTRMNTR configuration of Primal Scream, in which he played bass, in Liverpool c. April 2000 and it was one of the best shows I've seen this century. RIP. www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMiX...

And hanged.

I don't care, it's what you should have done after the Civil War, and if you don't do it next time you get the chance, you'll be back here again sooner rather than later.
Any President who calls for the opposition party to be hanged should be immediately impeached and removed from office.

You can't have hellish, Lovecraftian nightmare-fuel depictions of traditional Christmas scenes anymore, because of woke.
It’s the exclusive everyone wanted, the story that will win next year’s Pulitzer…

I can reveal London’s giant AI generated Christmas artwork, the subject of much online mockery, is being torn down - and I honestly *genuinely* think you’ll never guess why. www.londoncentric.media/p/ai-artwork...

After the Rana Plaza disaster in Bangladesh in 2013, when an eight-story sweatshop in Dhaka collapsed, killing nearly 1200 people & injuring 2500, I had a massive rant on FB about Primark and companies like them, and how this was the logical endpoint of their business model and their marketing. 1/
One of the most painful things to watch is people on the left coming up with social justicey reasons why fast fashion is fine, actually. Like that poor/disabled people need to have access to 45 new outfits a month and nothing consumers do matters because "no ethical consumption under capitalism".
