I’ve started using the term “ethnic cleansing campaign” to describe the ICE occupation here in Minnesota. This is deliberate because the reality on the ground is that, at a given moment, any non-white person can be kidnapped by masked federal paramilitaries regardless of their constitutional rights.

i think this gets at something important which is that normal people are rightly pissed off that they’re having normal time stolen from them by this ravaging horde of jumped up mall cops. everybody has to work in the morning! why is it THEIR job to hold their community together in such a basic way!

4 Lakota men were kidnapped by ICE in Minneapolis. 3 of them were taken to what used to be a concentration camp for Native people, and the only people talking about it are other Indigenous people. I am angry but mostly numb, I am so used to this at this point. We are always forgotten.

when Trump banned travel from seven Muslim majority countries in his first term we responded and won, leading to an early and power-limiting defeat for his administration. we can do the same for this. don’t let the scale of overreach, the degree of evil disempower you; that’s their intention

I am introducing the Quick Recognition (QR) Act, which requires ICE and CBP officers to wear uniforms featuring QR codes. When scanned, the code would generate a digital ID displaying the officer’s name, badge number, and law enforcement agency.

reading Vineland was truly a shocking thing, because it felt like Pynchon truly was a seer, knowing exactly what was to come. It reminds me of certain William Gibson books, where the author is just tapped into a current and Knows

I was wrong, I thought I was done RTing this but unfortunately the need is still high
