Yeah but what if the Melania movie was called Seven Samurai instead? And then when you went to see it they just showed you Akira Kurosawa’s 1954 masterpiece Seven Samurai? I bet you liberals would *love* it then. Typical.

We lost one of the great improvisational actors of all-time. She was great in so many films/tv shows. One of those actresses who could find a way to make the phone book funny. I’ll always think of Delia from Beetlejuice since that’s where I 1st noticed her growing up. Then when I learned she

I keep hearing the same argument from MAGA:

"What about all the citizens murdered by illegals".

Then get a warrant and go arrest them!

Don't patrol the streets terrorizing everyone, arresting children at schools and US citizens because you don't know who to arrest. See the difference?

Immigration is a fake problem. We have politicians on the one hand who want to use immigrants as scapegoats for our real ones and politicians on the other who are too cowardly to stand against them and tell the truth. That is the entire situation. Until that changes, people will continue to die.

I’m just a simple man, but it’s almost like this global “competition” for “markets” and economic “growth” has led us to irreversible climate catastrophe and environmental disaster, not to mention ceaseless conflict, human exploitation, and war.

One of the most fascinating turn arounds I’ve seen in my life was how when Smash Mouth’s All Star came out it was very popular (very quickly eclipsed the movie it was actually written for, Mystery Men) and it was everywhere. To the point people were getting sick of

Top 10 movies (that saw for the first time) in 2025:

1.) Weapons
The rest is great too but man that ending…
2.) Booksmart
Really shocked how much I liked it. Billie Lourd kills every scene she’s in.
3.) Sinners
What can be said about this one. Practically perfect in every way.

Impossible because the amount of actors and creatives guarantees that there could be another performer who could also perfectly embody a role and we shouldn’t be shutting down chances for multiple interpretations for a character. Recastings are not a bad thing.
Share an actor who nailed a role so hard that nobody else will ever be able to live up to it…

There are some who argue that remakes help keep classic films alive and/or breathes new life into them. I wouldn’t say it’s an unreasonable claim though the continued cultural relevancy of Princess Bride and the Back to the Future trilogy are some pretty huge holes in that argument.

Rob Reiner either made your favorite movie, or made somebody you know’s favorite movie. If you’re a Californian, he’s also part of the reason you or your friends can get married. He has changed more lives for the better than this asshole commenting on him ever did.

That would have definitely scared the crap out of me as a kid!
This kindertrauma scene from Nutcracker Fantasy (1979), a Japanese stop-motion animated film by Sanrio, loosely based on the Tchaikovsky ballet.

Ragman, a mysterious old man who roams the city looking into people's houses and turns children into mice if he catches them up past their bed time.
