My response to him would have been my very sarcastic Bucky energy like this scene, him mocking John Walker losing his fight against the Dora Milaje.

Mayor-elect Eileen Higgins’ win is a testament to what we can accomplish when we organize and compete everywhere.

Democrats have now flipped a seat that was in Republicans’ hands for nearly 30 years.
With her runoff victory tonight, Eileen Higgins will be Miami's next mayor—the first woman in the city’s history and the first Democrat in nearly 30 years elected to the office.

Congrats, Mayor-elect!

There's a great bit from the FX series, Legion, that argued social media has created a form of Plato's Cave where each individual sees themselves as the only actual person and everyone else as shadows on the wall. Which, unfortunately, makes it easier to dehumanize others when viewed as simulacra.

Remember the burst of posts in October claiming Taylor Swift was a Nazi/trade wife/selling SS merch? It was a bot farm.

CONFIRMED: Eileen Higgins, a Democrat, will be the new mayor of Miami.

She'll be the city's first Democratic mayor since the 1990s. She flipped the office from Republicans, and does so easily. She leads the DeSantis-endorsed Emilio González 59/41 right now with most ballots counted.

If you are still on Twitter, you are better off buying yourself a pretty little journal for all your thoughts, because you are tweeting to bots and about a half-dozen neo-Nazis. Even if you get attention, I guarantee it's not the kind you want.
I'm begging any artists still using Twitter claiming it's integral to their work to just leave. It's been revealed the site works off a made up "credit score" from hell and punishes you for posting like a normal human being.

Abandon Twitter for good. It's time. It's been time.

In a world where everyone wants to create the next evil Superman, having Phenomaman just be an incredibly socially awkward but overall nice person is the biggest breath of fresh air ever.
In a world of similar superhero projects that try to spin the formula but also over time became the norm in itself, what makes Dispatch refreshing is the fact is nothing about it feels like it needs to be overly cynical about the idea of heroes, and instead embraces it in its own grounded way

You ever notice whenever conservatives "cancel" people it never ends up going their way in the long run?

James Gunn, Blake Lively, now Kimmel, all "canceled" by the right, and bounced back. It pays to not be an absolute loser piece of shit and have people around you who aren't just ass kissers

This show holds up better than it had any right to. It did the Family Guy-Style cutaway gags before FG and better.

"Omg, who is driving?
Bear is driving. How can this be?"
New DVD get.

Clerks The Animated Series.

Perhaps the only show to get a Super Bowl ad but then only air 2 episodes out of 6 before being cancelled.

I keep seeing a lot about this game, Dispatch. Honestly, deconstructions of superheroes have been played out so much that it ends up being boring or too nihilistic. So I'm for a reconstruction of superheroes that embraces the concept and is more optimistic.
