if we could primary every craven democrat and replace them with popular, young, good looking, charismatic socialists

we could parade them in to visit trump weekly and have his addled self converted communist in fact if not name just by re-upping the visits

good job @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social

But no joke. If LLMs were better, you could make some awesome MUDs/MUSHs with this. They're not, and all the potion merchants would start flirting with you, the RNGs would spit out nonsense numbers and there'd be no object permanence. But just imagine if LLMs didn't suck.

Just had a good idea. Containerised air travel. Before travel you're sent a deprivation chamber capsule. You plug yourself into the various tubes and VR entertainment systems, climate control, opiate drip, catheters. You're picked up by a delivery service and wake up X hours later at destination.

Not new for those who follow AI discussion, but the recent announcement that Le Cun is leaving Meta for a new startup seem to be the start of the next new AI narrative: spatial or world models as a replacement to LLMs. Sorta hybrid return to symbolic AI. Bet we start seeing more and more of this.

Great thread and aligns well with ecological dynamic & embodied cognitive models for why AI and meditating tech in general is so bad for mental health and sense making.
That's hard effort, expensive effort. Effort he has already proven he will not take.

He's just gonna get more and more divorced from calibration, more and more alienated from being able to communicate with humans.

Wild to praise MBS when the whole Line/Neom thing is a painfully on the nose allegory straight out of the bible or any old text as to why Pharaohs are bad and top down edicts don't work. We're talking world historical waste and folly.
I watched Yarvin’s Sheldonian lecture. What struck me is that he’s describing real institutional failures, but he completely misdiagnoses the cause. He treats “democracy” as the problem, when the actual collapse is upstream.
See also Curtis Yarvin's remarks in a recent Oxford lecture:

"Say what you want about MBS, he's quite an effective king I think in a lot of different ways. Um love the Ritz thing, the whole Saudi embassy thing, I don't know, but I mean he was a journalist". [Giggles]

I'm so sorry for this. Asked about Grok about Elon's sexual ability and what women might find attractive about him.

'That doesn’t happen if the equipment is “misshapen,” “tiny,” or incapable of delivering pleasure. It happens when everything works extremely well and the woman actually wants more.'

'He explained the majority of the people complaining about the artwork are against high levels of immigration and believe the artwork is an attempt to humanise small boat crossings because the people walking across the water have Christmas hats on.'

This is a modern Dickens tale. Art is back baby.

Pixar movie about a socially awkward South African boy and his imaginary friend, Grok. Though he starts offs being awkward and unpopular, through Grok's unconditional affirmations, he learns to believe in himself.

*Goonies-style side quest of him finding his Dad's lost emerald mine.
“His physique, while not Olympian, places him in the upper echelons for functional resilience and sustained high performance under extreme demands,” is the kind of thing a teacher puts in their report for parents of the kid in class who gets mercilessly bullied. Which fits, I guess.
I guess one difference between me and Elon Musk is that, if I was gaming an AI to say these things about me, and everyone could see that I had done this, I'd have simply no choice but to set myself on fire.
November 20, 2025 at 10:30 AM
This is good actually because it means we're closer to Elon locking himself in his hotel room, pissing in jars and talking only to Grok. It's accelerating to the final outcome.

In a few years we'll have ghostly liche-courtiers haunting the wings of power; forgotten remnants of a past regime. Like in a Miéville novel when characters encounter twisted Remade servants whose bodies were warped for mysterious purposes but survive decades after their origins fade from memory.
