one thing that's nice about my family's bizarrely early thanksgiving feast is that while everybody else on the west coast is just sitting down to eat i'm already in my pajamas with the dishwasher running and i can watch the last two episodes of only murders in the building

i actually find the smell of turkey roasting to be very gross, once as a kid i was really sick on thanksgiving and now the smell makes me feel sick, it smells ... like a wrinkly elephant
