Then it sank again after Trump sent the military into Los Angeles—along with how voters rated his deportation policy. Approval on both issues is now down 20 points from the start of his term.

My block neighbors gathered where our street intersects Lake St.
Holding candles in -10°F (-23°C) for an hour and a half. Holding space, checking in and meeting a few new neighbors.

Literally every corner along Lake St. packed with people holding candles, many singing, honoring a person who by all accounts was an absolute gem of a human, whose life was tragically stolen by a fascist, paramilitary occupation force.
