Here's Disaster Day Of Crisis a very ambitious project by Monolith Soft and dubbed by Animaze and ZRO Limit. I'm not exactly sure in what capacity Kevin Seymour was involved with this one as the voice director is listed as Mary Elizabeth McGlynn. Preproduction documents below. 🧵

In in some incredibly weird timing, like 10 seconds after I posted that, I got an eBay alert that one of these mystical DVDs popped up on eBay, and a never-before-seen one, too! I plan to fully document it when it shows up. Here’s hoping theres actually a UMD in there…

It’s low-stakes anime mystery time again! Today's topic: the mystery Ghost in the Shell UMDs secretly thrown inside the box for other, unrelated Manga DVDs. Why were they there? And when did this happen? And how many are there?

"In a world gone mad, Rock 'n' Roll lives!"

AMVs via videotape! Hurricane Live 2032 (and its follow-up, Live 2033), released in 1988 in Japan and in the early to mid 90s elsewhere, clips together segments from Bubblegum Crisis to rockin' music and vocals from Kinuko Omori and the Knight Sabers.

In the original arcade version of Final Fight, there's a third button whose function is to escape grabs. It's not wired by default in arcade machines, but was left in the game code and can be accessed via emulation. Here, I tested it via MiSTerFPGA. It was probably used by the devs during QA.

Galaxian 3: What a ride

Anybody who wants to use this format, please go ahead! We would absolutely love for people to be as transparent as possible with credits. Who cares if they're long! People who worked on the game deserve their accolades, and if they ever need to get a job (god forbid) their role is now hyper clear.

Credits are basically a free space. Players will watch them or not. Those who do will come to understand how each person participated. We also credit everyone who ever touched the game in any way. This means for a relatively small team our credits are long. But who cares? Why be stingy with it?

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

Mario Kart: Double Dash contains a bizarre "eternal European pain" glitch whereby being burned when entering a pipe will cause the character to remain in pain indefinitely, but only in the European version.

For the record, when the translation is distributed, you'll have:
* The translation itself, as a base
* Optional patches that can be applied on top of the translation, like this run button
* A combo patch that includes everything

Added code for a run button :) Hold B to run. It moves the menu from B to Start, but B still cancels.

Not a mention of any of this in Nintendo Life's or the other two reviews I just read calling HD Boosted the definitive edition.

Delta is incredible and deserves better than a hack job of speeding the game up. Hold off buying until fixed, if you were thinking of buying it, peeps.
Here's the in game finale to R-Type Delta which is running so fast the buildings no longer sink, all particles are missing & the music hard cuts as it's all been scrolled off-screen. The whole game's like this, so the music sync'ing to the action in st.3, lol no etc

Also missing enemies, bugs etc
