I definitely want to go through all of my LCD games but uh, I legitimately do not know how to store/display them other than tetrising them into fabric cubes and bankers boxes. There has to be *some* way to sort them for easy cataloging and retrieval?

So in addition to that little Bomberman game from the other day, another thing I came across was this Snoopy Tennis Game & Watch in... rather unfortunate condition. The good news is that these *can* be fixed, but you need to source replacement backdrops. I happen to have one, so I'll be fixing it!

I've been thinking about this and as much as I appreciate the compliment from @desragnell.bsky.social (and I really do!) I want to point out that I have skill, *not* talent. None of what I do came easily, and the only reason I'm so good is because I practiced and stuck with it.

Spent the evening cleaning up and fixing this guy! Flowed some new solder into the old joints, wiped down the button contacts, and scrubbed away a whole bunch of battery corrosion. Also pulled a piece of scotch tape off the pcb?

Picked up a 2-blade window fan from goodwill for $2 a few weeks back. It's supposed to have intake, exhaust, and exchange settings, but it only seems to be able to do exchange - left blade is always exhaust, right is always intake. Controls are push-button digital. Wondering how hard it'd be to fix.

It occurs to me that many people don't know about the GameFan coffee incident.
In 1993, GameFan published a manic 6-page review of the game Cybermorph that was written while tripping on LSD that somebody put in the office coffee pot

Got this on whilst crashed for the evening and the Drac's Night Out bit came on, and it was really kinda surreal to have mentions of my childhood experience and family just like sorta casually pop up out there in a youtube documentary vid. I do remember answering questions about it a while back tho.

Dropped this in my local retro game FB group, but for visibility: Anyone Seattle have a busted NES controller they're willing to part with? It can be quite literally broken in half; the more destroyed, the better. I honestly really just need the wire but don't want to take apart a good controller.
