Curate, curate, curate. On every site. Block, block, block. I'm always astonished when I see people on X complaining about how much they see Elon's posts. Like, how in God's name do you not have that guy blocked? I'll block someone for being vaguely irritating. I'll block someone for posting a gif.
The better you’ve become at curating what the internet looks like to you, surfacing the valuable and filtering out the rest, the less it resembles what “normal people” see. It’s like using a new computer without all your personal tools and tweaks. This is obvious, but easy to lose sight of.

They are running the government according to the logic of right-wing grievance media. I cannot emphasize that enough. The point is to create content, and they don't see an actual difference between dunking on Sabrina Carpenter, passing legislation, and bombing other countries.
I don't really know what the administration hopes to gain by picking fights with the most well-liked pop artists in the United States. You're just generating backlash for no discernible reason outside of owning the libs.

Been noticing a lot more smut on here lately. Can't say I'm crazy about it. That's part of the reason I left the Nazi site. It's nowhere near that bad yet but I've been seeing a lot more thirst trap profiles than I used to.

Everyone is yelling at Ian about this but the article is good and this is a real problem! If you are a straight guy trying to get laid 99% of the advice you come across will be right wing-coded.
The left is completely silent on the subject of men getting laid - which, generally speaking, they are v.interested in doing and will continue to be interested in regardless of whether progressives want to talk about it. So the stage has been left entirely clear for the far-right.
