I know I'm preaching the choir, but what this thread demonstrates is that the changes From made to Dark Souls 1 post-release were about making it easier and more forgiving, often *significantly* so.

It's supposed to be accessible. "Prepare to Die" was marketing.

Later entries, less so. But still.
