I'm personally still on the fence if I wanna pick it up myself during the day or risk it being delayed or showing up at 8pm or something. Truly horrible at this every time a game I preordered releases.

I have played like 5 games on PS5 since 2021. It feels like we haven't even done anything with the hardware. One of the most impressive games on the system was the pack-in. PS4 games still look amazing to me. What are we doing here? What is the PS6 for? What will it do that the PS5 can't?

Square Enix has made so many interesting spinoff IPs in the last 15-20 years and they ALL end up in the same place at the end: a place I could never enjoy them. FFExplorers, World of FF, Dissidia, and now Dissidia again. Best case, they make a good game and port it later... But a good mobile game???

It's crazy how it seems people have been chasing the critical success of this game for almost 30 years in both the indie and major game dev circles, but nothing seems to really have recaptured the magic of this title. I only played a bit in high school, but it seems not outdone by anything following
