I used to think that the worst part of being in politics must be wrestling with your conscience when you decided to approve the use of lethal force. So seeing folks who are gleeful about it really blows my mind. "I'm cool because I kill people" is quite the worldview.

Aside from all the other downsides, the amount of taxpayer money paid out in lawsuits because of this horrendous behavior is going to be astronomical.
