By day I'm a producer in the games industry, happily making little spreadsheets and Gantt charts, and by night I improvise nonsense or wander around stage with a microphone.
Been under the weather the past couple of days, was really hoping I'd be better for tomorrow so I could go watch the Midsomer Murders stage play in Sheffield but alas.

My favourite thing I learned at AdventureX was that in Shadows of Doubt there was a bug that stopped any of the procedurally generated murders from happening because there was only one toilet open at night and so the murderer got stuck in the queue to use it and couldn't kill their target in time.

I played through the Another Code collection last year and felt a bit disappointed by them changing or removing a lot of the puzzles.
Now replaying Hotel Dusk and... Yes. This is the Cing bullshit I was missing. Just weird, obtuse puzzles that feel so clever once you've jumped through the hoops.

I played through the Another Code collection last year and felt a bit disappointed by them changing or removing a lot of the puzzles.

My thoughts on remakes/remasters is I'd like more of them but in the same way there are infinite productions of Shakespeare plays each interpreting the text in different and interesting ways.
Give me Crash Bandicoot but this time it's a reflection on the atrocities of WW1.

I am trying to avoid getting things through Amazon at the minute, and what's surprising is just... How many things I now can't really find anywhere else. Too many slightly too specific things it doesn't make sense to take up shelf space in a shop with.

I use the gender neutral title Mx, lots of places are offering it now on forms which is wonderful, but when I initially started using it my bank just had Mr/Mrs etc but also a text box option for "Other" where you could enter your title yourself.

now that all the games press is gone, we only have the loudest gamers to rely on when trying to get a vibe of whether a game is good, which is extremely worse than nothing

I do think that they need to change the name of bureau de changes if only because I'm incapable of not reading it in Chris Morris' voice.

I went clubbing once on my second day at uni because I understood that uni was an opportunity for trying new things and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and I wanted to challenge my ideas and self restrictions on who I was!
