Sounds like SOMEONE has forgotten about our humble friend the printer. Simply print your code and consume, it's delicious.

One last push: if you HAVEN'T reviewed the EMD demo yet please do, as it'll massively help us out with Next Fest tomorrow. Downloads and reviews get us prominence, apparently.

If you HAVE reviewed it, you're a shining example of the very best type of Terranoid, well done. Big star ⭐

The Steam reviews for the EARTH MUST DIE Demo have certainly taken an unusual turn. We get an altogether better class of reviews here at Size Five Games

Steam review: This game doesn’t merely ooze with charm — it secretes it, thick and slow, from pores that shouldn’t exist. Each surface trembles as if beneath it, something vast and unseen squirms and breathes. The charm is alive here, a sentient fluid that remembers older, wetter worlds. It seeps between pixels, whispering through the code in languages not meant for lungs.

It pulses beneath the menus like veins beneath translucent flesh, its rhythm too steady to be human. Sometimes the charm glistens with a light that isn’t reflection, a phosphorescent shimmer like the soft wink of something watching from the dark. When you play, it reaches back — not maliciously, but hungrily — tasting you through the buttons and wires.

And when you close it, you’ll feel it still. In your fingertips. In your teeth. In the soft, wet corners of your dreams.

I could possibly get onboard with Halloween a lot more if John Carpenter's Halloween theme was playing on a loop as I walk around Waitrose.

Your Steam Reviews: "waaah, a DEI woman looked at me!!!"

Our Steam Reviews: "Hot, throbbing secretions."

We are not the same.

Thank you! I don't understand it, but I think downloads (and reviews please!) at this point will help the algorithm take it more seriously for Next Fest? Worth a shot!

A brilliant RealBirdFakeBird.com today, and a tense, harrowing 6 for me.

Disgusted in myself.

If you have played this Demo, please do leave a review on it! It really helps us out for complicated computer reasons I do not understand.

If you HAVEN'T played the demo yet, please do, even if you're planning to get the full game! Just downloading it helps an algorithm do a job, or something.

This smacks of incredulously scoffing "what were we supposed to do?? Make it ourselves???!" and then "Wait, I'm having an AMAZING idea..."

If you're an indie developer, here's a harrowing thread to make you feel a sort of hollow gloom deep in the pit of your stomach that feels like shadowy thorns.

Things have definitely changed and it is arguably not ideal for most of us.

Somehow we had a successful game launch in 2025: A thread 🧵

We launched Little Rocket Lab this week, and it's been mega for us. Which is amazing, because well, the industry is bad right now!

So I wanna go through the things we did, in the hope that something here can be helpful to someone here

This is for the demo, which is free. I assume they're talking about the full version, which is not free.
