“Common sense is common sense,” Schultz said. “I don’t need a report, one way or the other, to tell me that. I just firmly believe that minors should not be transitioning.”

This really gives the game away. As we've said, no amount of evidence would ever satisfy them. It's ideological.

I am not seeing coverage about this act of war as illegal. This should be the frame on every serious news show.

The President of the United States appears to be getting regular IV infusions, the public doesn’t know anything about it, & the DC media evidently doesn’t care.

We are months into the mystery of Trump’s hands, the White House is lying, & I’ve seen a grand total of one serious news story about it.
Trump looked pretty rough today -- note that both of his hands are discolored

You know where I stand, until the #Packers figure out how to change the ills that always plague them it will be the same old tune every year.

It's not overly difficult to rack up enough regular season wins in this league. But there's another level in those big games that LaFleur and Co. can't reach
Those first two weeks of the season really turned out to be Fools' Gold, eh?

Wasn't even against playoff teams. #Packers

As Hannah Arendt put it: "The ideal subject of totalitarian rule is not the convinced Nazi or the dedicated communist, but people for whom the distinction between fact and fiction, true and false, no longer exists." Undermining that distinction will be a lasting legacy of generative AI.

And yet, In Covid’s Wake quotes me as saying that “the FBI went beyond strategic information sharing and made direct moderation demands” — literally the opposite of what I argue — to buttress their claim that the government was too busy censoring speech to adequately deal with the pandemic.

Ok. Now had a chance to check and, well, at least some docs do appear to be straight up classic redaction fail. And there are some *interesting* bits here.

You no longer need to manufacture consent. The consent now manufactures itself for you!
Bari Weiss claims she killed the CBS CECOT story because it lacked Trump’s perspective.

1. That’s a lie. Trump has publicly commented supporting CECOT.
2. Refusing to comment is their choice. They are no victim.
3. Killing a story to protect power is State Run Media.

Drop CBS permanently.

Please read this excellent thread for many reasons, and not JUST because it hinges on a rigorous/formal definition of bullshit…
So… these "questions of accuracy" were always going to happen once the Washington Post chose to make "Personalized AI Podcast" bullshit, bc statistically generative sycophantic bullshit engines are not, & frankly cannot be about "accuracy." You know that, right NPR? Please say you know that by now…
Questions of accuracy arise as Washington Post uses AI to create personalized podcasts
The Post calls the podcast an "AI-powered tool" that turns its articles into an audio news digest.

Notably by making up an ethical principle that doesn't exist, and if it did would completely destroy the ability of 60 Minutes (or any other news org that adopted it) to do any negative reporting on anyone, ever.

On a call just now, Bari Weiss tells staff she held the CECOT story because it wasn’t ready & to advance a months-old story, they need "the principals" on record.

Yesterday, CBS reporter Sharyn Alfonsi warned if they can only do stories when government responds, it “gains control” over 60 Minutes.

Counterpoint: anyone with a modicum of taste knows the original sucked so bad nobody should give any of the sequels a second of their time.

I’m embarrassed to have spent even this skeet on it…
i don’t think everyone needs to like every film but the way people refuse to even take the avatar series seriously in any capacity feels so performative in a way no other series has ever been treated, very odd to me

before everybody gets to sharing this, the only source seems to be this tweet from a youtuber. Nobody has it posted or shared anywhere with a link to the files or file name, and nobody else has reported on it that I can find? The other pic of Trump made the news pretty fast
It's underway. Either a hero left this unredacted, or their incompetence has failed him

Since their last SB win the Packers have been an above-average football team whose biggest moments have been giving other teams their biggest moments, usually via epic and almost unbelievable collapses.

The #Packers started strong but finished horribly. Special teams blunders caused losses and a tie vs the Browns, Panthers, Cowboys, and now Bears. Why tf is Rich Bisaccia is the highest-paid ST coach in the NFL? The Rams fired theirs, so the Packers can too. #GoPackGo

This game is kind of a microcosm of LaFleur's entire tenure. They looked great for a large part of it but when it came time to put the game away they made dumb mistakes, crumbled when adversity hit, and couldn't close out the game. And now they look primed for their typical flame out.
The Packers under LaFleur continuously crumble under adversity, blow big games they should win, make critical mental errors late in games, and fail to close out games. The stuff in between is great but if you don't get that stuff right none of it matters.

Hahhahahahhahahahahaha classic MLF coached team.

For all the times the Packers and Bears have played, there has never been a truly great game.

Is this exiting? I guess, but not because one side or the other has played particularly well.
