Martin, an 18-year-old citizen and soccer player, traveled with his Madison-area team to Minneapolis for a Futsal tournament (which my kid's team was going to play in, then opted out). While there, ICE stopped Martin and took his mom, who has been detained since.

TWIN CITIES

Armed Citizens Against Tyranny is a HONEYPOT action.

No one in the Twin Cities, including the MN Gun Owners association, knows anyone supposedly in this group.

Local orgs are STRONGLY urging folks to STAY AWAY from their planned "protest."

I want to thank all our neighbors who continue to support our communities. I see you. You’re still helping deliver groceries, you’re offering rides, mutual aid, rent assistance, helping people on your block with daily tasks, and you continue to observe the illegal actions committed by ICE. 1/

Remember.

All this focus on sheriffs and access to county jails. We have actual numbers and we’re taking fewer than 100 people with ICE detainers statewide.

THIS FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS LYING WHEN THEY FRAME THIS AS A MATERIAL MOTIVATION.

NEW: Records reviewed by WIRED show DHS’s facial recognition app (Mobile Fortify) isn’t designed to actually "verify" identity—despite DHS claims and its agents relying on its matches to support probable cause in the field.
ICE and CBP’s Face-Recognition App Can’t Actually Verify Who People Are
ICE has used Mobile Fortify to identify immigrants and citizens alike over 100,000 times, by one estimate. It wasn't built to work like that—and only got approved after DHS abandoned its own privacy r...

For other folks reading this: I was first to release the transcript online. I don't need credit, because these are publicly available to anyone who wants to pay a modest sum to the courts. But if reading about the horrors going on in Minnesota moved you, consider supporting a local cause.
I don't really need you to credit me for being first with this, but at the very least consider boosting a worthy Minnesota charity. Many here, www.standwithminnesota.com, or people can support the Midwest Immigration Bond Fund, which is bonding out people detained like the petitioners in this case.
It cost me $66.70 to get this transcript. Money well spent. I don't need anyone to reimburse me.

But, if you got something out of this transcript, please consider making a $66.70 donation, or even $6.67, to the Midwest Immigration Bond Fund, which posts bond for immigration detainees.

YES. Nothing has really changed on the ground here. ICE is still disappearing people.

Those two Venezuelan guys who supposedly hit an agent with a snow shovel? A judge ordered their release today. They were released... then immediately re-detained by ICE outside the courtroom.

It's still madness.
ICE hasn't stopped brutalizing people or shredding the Constitution, it's just that corporate media turned the camera as the call for action got too loud and the Democrats stepped in and made sure the issue got changed.

If you sit for a second, you'll recognize that's what happened with BLM, too.
