This makes sense. So much of what senior managers are rewarded for producing is meaningless word salad, which is very much in LLM AI's lane.
Also prompts the question: Would replacing the C Suite and the upper management doing that 57% with LLM driven chat bots actually cause any harm? And would the harm it causes be cheaper than the salaries?
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.
I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?

I don't believe in ghosts but I think people have an inherent "spooked" setting and once something triggers that I'm frightened of the ghosts I don't believe in.

Some people's approach to negotiations is that it's better to lose than to compromise. That way you can hold your head up as pure and wronged. (Victory just around the corner.) I think that approach prioritises the vanity of the decision maker over the needs of the constituents.

Tony Blair realised he could take left votes for granted and tack centre, even centre right, to take some votes from the Tories. Keir Starmer and Shabana Mahmood have tacked so far to the right that they will lose all progressive votes. Labour MPs must stop them.
