When it comes to writing non-fiction I have a bad habit of publishing in batches. There's nothing and then there's suddenly half a dozen books. Which means rather than one post per new release, I'm just going to do a new release thread for this year.

Starting with the five books I published so far.

My Valentine drop is live! All items are limited pre-orders, so you have a week to order them and then they’re gone.

I’m only able to show a few here, but I have a couple more earring styles and also some phone charms. :)

Possible visible aurora tonight in Colorado. (I missed the one that folks captured in Denver late last year becuase of sick-mom stuff, so may just throw the dog in the car and drive north a bit to see what I can see. I so want to see one!)

All creative cheerleading and satisfaction aside, tho, the older I get the more work/effort vs monetary reward in this business makes no financial sense whatsoever. You're often looking at having made pennies per hour when final math shakes out. You would make more w/a side hustle cleaning gutters

Good morning from the whistle witch! We have now shipped out 65,000 whistles to (last count) 23 states so far in January. We have updated the linktree with a few new wishlists from newer printers, and also our GFM & other resource links!

A chain restaurant but I really used to love Bennigan's and their Monte Christo sandwich. (They'd also give me like 8 refills of my Coke.)

It's also fond memories because my dad and I would meet there for a late night dinner after his dialysis sometimes.
Sunday night timeline cleanse

please tell me about your favorite lost restaurant (closed for at least 5 years, like I really want you to go back into the vault), why you loved it and what you ate there

BTW,I have a Patreon. I try to post regularly, and since I've been doing it since 2017, there are a lot of back posts you can access too. I talk about writing, mostly, and now and then I put up some fiction, a short story or an excerpt from an unpublished book.

Mildly hyperventilating over the fact that in order to transfer reviews from the first editions of my books to the second editions I had to unpublish the first editions.

(The first editions still sell and are fine, and there's no guarantee the second editions will sell as well. Eek.)

Just for fun, here's a stack of 4 long exposure photographs of the remarkable Ada, OK storm on 09-23-23. These images, which were all taken in a span of less than one minute, represent the intense electrical activity this storm exhibited. I doubt I'll ever see something like it again. #Photography

“How to Talk Minnesotan” is intended to be comedic but I recommend it for every autistic transplant, because no one will explain any of this to you, they’ll just get mad at you and you won’t know why. This outright just tells you the unspoken rules and everything makes so much more sense after that
This is light-hearted and doesn't touch on cases of fuckaroundits, but maybe it'll spark joy. Mid 90s local PBS.

Viv has put all of her gorgeous jewelry shop on sale to raise funds for Minneapolis mutual aid.

I will match whatever she raises. All the money will go to organizations listed at www.standwithminnesota.com.

it's a small thing we can do to help a community we love, but it's a thing.
Bleeding Hart Studio is back with a store-wide sale/fundraiser for Minneapolis mutual aid!

Everything including 5 all-new necklaces in www.etsy.com/shop/Bleedin... is 25% off until 1/24. I'll donate that 25% off to at least one of the organizations at www.standwithminnesota.com --

All, periodic reminder: when you dunk on people like Katie Miller, you're doing exactly what they want.

1. Being screenshot and dunked on amplifies her message, even if it's snarking.
2. Ignoring her and lack of notoriety actually hurts her more.

Don't do her work for her. Seriously.

Random pet peeve of mine is that CDC, etc. didn't say COVID was over, they said it was now endemic. As in, here to stay for the forseeable future and relatively predictable.
