You might think from the headline that this is a story about a trans kid suffering medical consequences from a large drug dose but nope! It is just an interview with an estranged father who is angry that his child happily transitioned.

One way or another we are going to have to wring Trump’s utterly lawless cronies out of the judiciary and it needs to start with this human toad
NEW: Emil Bove, thumbing his nose at America, is making a mockery of the rule of law.

Attending Trump's rally on Tuesday, Judge Emil Bove let it be known that his DOJ actions were just the beginning. Bove must face accountability, and ultimately impeachment.

1) Remember he said something similar about Marie Yovanovitch.
2) I'm really not sure how the cartels are going to play in Trump's imperial ambitions and I think most Americans should think seriously about that. Many of them are 2 degrees from US Special Forces training.

And if it is not legal, what is to stop a future Democratic administration from arresting and deporting everyone who pays for one of these, while keeping their money?

Uh, so quick question: how is this actually legal?

Congress has the constitutional power to set naturalization and immigration rules, so how does this conform to statute?

And I bet the absolutely feckless White House press corps won’t cover this like the legit constitutional 1A disaster this is.
Trump: "I think the people that have run CNN are a disgrace. I think it's imperative that CNN be sold because you certainly wouldn't want to just leave those people with some money so they can spend even more spending poison. It's lies. I wouldn't want to see the same company end up with CNN."

This is still VERY illegal. The Trump admin says anyone who pays $1 million will be deemed to have "exceptional business ability" and become eligible for an employment-based immigrant visa.

But there's nothing stopping someone from just getting a loan or using parents' money.

Of course, nothing exemplifies the Trump ethos more than declaring that "every rich person is exceptional at business," but that doesn't change the fact that people who are getting this visa will not necessarily meet the legal requirements, and could risk deportation under a future admin.

it remains absolutely funny to me that the one thing that unites MAGA and Blue Labour is "we are too high up on the value chain and we need to go back"
Over 50% of the UK goes to uni. 50% of our economy doesn’t require this, and we are misallocating high value human capital, this is the problem that you for some reason, are pretending not to grasp.
